*COURT AFFIRMS BAMOFIN LADIPO JOHNSON AS NDC LAGOS CENTRAL SENATORIAL CANDIDATE: MEDIA TEAM CALLS FOR UNITY AND AN ISSUE-BASED CAMPAIGN*

The Media Team of Bamofin Ladipo Johnson, the official Lagos Central Senatorial Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), welcomes the landmark judgment delivered this afternoon by the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos.

In the judgment presided over by the Honourable Justice D. E. Osiagor, the court entirely dismissed the suit filed by Hon. Babasola Sebanjo challenging the outcome of the party’s primary election. The court ruled decisively that the suit failed for want of jurisdiction and completely lacked merit, thereby validating the transparency and integrity of the internal democratic processes of the NDC.


We commend our legal team, led by Adebola Adewara, Esq. and Adekunle Akitoye, Esq., for their exceptional representation. We also acknowledge the steadfast defense put forward by the 1st Defendant’s lawyer (NDC), Ikechukwu Onodi, and the 2nd Defendant’s lawyer (INEC), Mr. Hassan T. Fajimite, Esq.

With this legal distraction firmly put behind us, Bamofin Ladipo Johnson extends a hand of fellowship to Hon. Babasola Sebanjo and his supporters. The primary election was a family affair, and the true victory belongs to the people of Lagos Central who are deserving of robust representation.

Pdp inaugural Southwest Executive meeting for Repositioning, Strengthening Collaboration, Consolidating gains and Re building Structures  In Lagos, Nigeria during the week, the Pdp Southwest zone held its inaugural Southwest Executive meeting just after it's National convention that cushioned in the leadership of Abdulraman Mohammed as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
