PDP INAUGURAL SOUTHWEST EXECUTIVE MEETING
Pdp inaugural Southwest Executive meeting for Repositioning, Strengthening Collaboration, Consolidating gains and Re building Structures
In Lagos, Nigeria during the week, the Pdp Southwest zone held its inaugural Southwest Executive meeting just after it's National convention that cushioned in the leadership of Abdulraman Mohammed as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The inuguration which saw the Zonal Vice Chairman Southwest PDP, Engr. Adedeji Doherty piloting the meeting, also witnessed Statutory members of the executive committee as well as elected state party Chairmen in attendance.
The bid to strengthen collaboration and align with the National leadership was a major focus as the Vice Chairman who noted that as the recent tubulance of leadership that rocked the party has been put to rest, the need to find out and feel the pulse of the various states, will aid to have an insight into what the Pdp needs to do as a political party to actualize the vision of the National body.
Speaking on behalf of other PDP State Chairmen, the Osun state Chairman, Bisi Sunday reterated that looking back at 2003, pdp had about five state in the south west and the present goal of the committee he stated, is a turn around to that era and even win more states in the Southwest in the coming elections.
The leaders expressed optimism that the new executive direction is to turn around the party's fortune ahead 2027.

Adedeji Doherty Zonal Vice Chairman Southwest PDPThe Vice Chairman affirmed that the meeting provides a window towards accessing situations in the region and align strategies for a more formidable pdp. He noted that the two elections in view been the Osun and Ekiti elections is a major opportunity for the party to showcase its dominance.
Calling on the State party Chairmen to give an overview of what they have on ground, what the present situation is and what approvals needed to aid their performance efficiently and effectively.
They Party also encouraged Nigerians to participate actively in the forth coming national elections and make informed choices at the polls.
It is not yet 'uhuru' for the Pdp in this coming general elections as many Nigerians are glued to the news, watching the Pdp resolutions and strategies and how it will transcend to electoral success come 2027.
