CYBERCRIME /ILLEGAL PRODUCTION AND SALES OF THE 2027 PDP ELECTION FORMS: PDP SOUTHWEST VICE CHAIRMAN CALLS ON SECURITY AGENCIES

 

PDP SOUTHWEST VICE CHAIRMAN ENGR ADEDEJI DOHERTY CALLS ON SECURITY AGENCIES TO INVESTIGATE THE ILLEGAL PRODUCTION AND SALES OF THE 2027 PDP ELECTION FORMS BY THE WABARA PDP TEAM 

The controversy that has ravaged the Peoples Democratic Party for awhile now is believed to have come to an end with the Supreme Court verdict on the warring  fractions.

The recent developments obviously signals a different tale as major stakeholders are still not satisfied with the Supreme Court verdict where different groups are left to interprete the judgement to their favour.

The fractional BOT Chairman Sen. Adolphus Nwabara who is believed to have taken over and called every warring  fraction to a round table talk is not acceptable to the fraction  led by Sen Mao Ohuabunwa's group who vehemently believe, that the former BOT members which include the likes of Chief Olabode George have been compromised, pointing out discrepancies even in the so called Olive branch speech issued by Sen Adolphus Nwabara .

The Southwest Vice Chairman, Engr Adedeji Doherty in an exclusive interview pointed out with illustrations that the duties and functions of the BOT, are quoted out of contest by the then BOT Chairman, where he cited provision of Section 32 (5) of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017). Calling for an emergency meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC), pursuant to the provisions of Section 31 of the Constitution of the PDP as amended.   

The Vice Chairman blew hot as he brought to limelight,  that the Nwabara led fraction hurriedly put in place a steering committee of the NWC after the Supreme Courts  verdict, this committee he termed as null/ void and illegal, in his terms, "the so called BOT who are impersonating themselves as BOT are committing both civil and criminal offences".

Adedeji buttressed further that the BOT who are supposed to be mitigating and meditating between the warring fractions had compromised themselves by taking sides initially and had even lost at the Supreme Court and the Appeal court of which they summoned the fractional party to.

He spoke further that the entire circle of the steering committee or inaugurated NEC are all part and parcel of those that lost at the Supreme Court last week. He voiced out to our correspondent....

" You cannot seek self help in executing a Supreme Court judgement and you cannot interpret a court judgement to favor you or your group. 

He argued that the BOT ceases to be recognized once they could not live up to the responsibilities stated in the party constitution, having failed to have stopped any court intervention by not mediating fairly in the internal party crises but instead became participants in the mater !

The Vice Chairman indicated  that the BOT and the illegally constituted NEC members had hurriedly put a committee together just to raise funds for themselves by illegally commencing the sale of forms for the 2027 elections to unsuspecting PDP members, loyal to them.

He stated clearly as the Vice Chairman of the PDP Southwest Zone , " We would like to take this opportunity to warn as well as, caution members of the party in the zone, who are part and parcel of this plan to extort money from the good and loyal members of the Pdp by false pretence to desist from such criminality".                                            Sounding a note of warning to the party faithfuls in the Southwest that, selling of any kind of forms that is not from the NWC led by Abdul Rahaman Mohammed and Samuel Anyanwu will be turned over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC.

He further called on the public and the good members of the Pdp not to entertain, participate or part with any monetary interest to any structure outside the NWC led by Abdul Rahaman Mohammed and Samuel Anyanwu until, a competent Court of law cancels the convention that brought the NWC into existence.

There is no court that has nullified  the process or disqualified all those that took part in the March, 2026 National Convention. It is illegal for anyone residing in the Federal Republic of Nigeria to interpret a court judgement in its favour only, to cause chaos or seek self help in executing a judgement.    

The Vice Chairman called on  the Inspector general of Police,  the Directors of the DSS and the EFCC and finally the ICPC with the collaboration of all  government security outfits to get ready to investigate a huge National fraud that is about to occur or about to be  perpetuated by the Wabara team except Gov Seyi Makinde who knows that he is still covered under the immunity clause which he enjoys as a sitting Governor.  

He brought to note that the change in method of selling forms electronically as was devised recently by the so called  Wabara BOT, will not hide the fact that the purported selling of forms is criminal in nature . 

All those who took an oath on this hateful day are accomplices to the supposed.

Of late, it is also heard from the grape vine that many party faithfuls have called for the expulsion of his Excellency Seyi Makinde from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, noting his controversial figure, role and character is a major factor in the conflict rocking the party of late.
