ADC /INEC CONFLICT, A FALLOUT OF KWANKWASO'S ACCEPTANCE - NNPP

PRESS RELEASE

We sympathise with ADC- NNPP

The New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, has blamed the  current problems in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) leadership on Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso.

This is contained in a statement by the NNPP National Secretary, Mr Ogini Olaposi on Thursday in Lagos.

INEC' announced on Wednesday that it is  withdrawing  recognition of the leadership of African Democratic Congress, ADC, including David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola, Chairman and Secretary respectively.

INEC in its statement,  claimed to rely on an Order of the Court of Appeal which directed that the status quo in ADC be maintained.

The NNPP said it is surprised to note that the leadership of  ADC did not know that God is angry with Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima over their attempt to hijack NNPP from the backdoor.

"Their  greatest crime against God are the illegal conversion of the original logo and colour of the NNPP  without the consent of the party and it's founders

"NNPP  was registered in 2001 and Kwankwaso, Buba Galadima and other kwankwasiya movement members joined in  2022 at no cost to contest the presidential and other elective positions in  2023.

"Kwankwaso lost presidential election, and his followers won governorship of kano state and other elective positions at the state and national assembly.

"God is angry with ADC for admitting Kwankwaso and his followers, without him going  to  apologise to  members of the NNPP and its leadership."

The party noted that  consequence of the ADC action is regrettable,  noting that God acts differently.

" Therefore, the need for ADC to understand that APC and INEC may not have hand in their ordeal is certain.

'"ADC do not have any reason to support betrayal attitude, this is because they cannot claim ignorance of what Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima did to their sister political party who were nice to them at their time of need. We must be our brothers keepers at all times and that is the essence of IPAC existence

"ADC should advise Kwankwaso and Galadima to go and apologise and make peace with members and leadership of NNPP and seek for forgiveness going forward. With this God shall help them.

"It does not matter whether they are still in NNPP or not, if they do not,  the anger of God shall continue to hurt them.

"ADC should not allow itself to suffer an offence committed by someone else. .

"Aside from the fact that Kwankwaso was unable to manage success,  we regret to note that he was not smart enough to realise on time some of his followers  are sympathisers of APC . " Ogini said
