BODE GEORGE SHOULD GO AND CONTEST FOR PRESIDENCY...DOHERTY ADVISES LAGOS PDP IMPOSTERS
*'Tell Bode George to contest for President', Doherty advises Lagos PDP impostors*
Lagos PDP chieftain and Deputy National Secretary of the National Caretaker Committee has called on impostors fighting the cause of Chief Olabode George to tell him to throw his hat in the ring and contest the 2027 presidential election, instead of sulking over the bold efforts of other people who are in the race.
Doherty gave the advice in response to a vacuous statement issued by one of Chief Bode George's chicken boys who is falsely presenting himself as an officer of the Lagos PDP.
Deji Doherty Deputy National Secretary of the National Caretaker Committee, PDPAccording to Doherty, it is sheer cowardice for Bode George to bury his head in the sand like an ostrich and be using his idle street boys to attack recognised leaders of the party.
"If Chief Bode George thinks he has the pedigree to be Nigeria's president, he should just enter the race and stop beefing the people who are courageous enough to put themselves forward", says Doherty who dismissed the efforts at dragging him by Bode George's attack dogs as meaningless.
Doherty noted that with the suspension of Chief Bode George as a member of the PDP by the National Caretaker Committee, he has effectively lost his grounds in the PDP but as a freeborn Lagosians, he's advised to seek alternative platform if he has the lever to be president of Nigeria.
Doherty admonished PDP members in Lagos State to remain focused and key into the reengineering process currently going on in the party.
With the state congress coming up on Tuesday, March 17, Doherty assured that a more efficient and effective leadership will emerge to redirect the affairs of our party from the over two decades of confusion and failures imposed on the members by Chief Bode George who prides himself as the Supreme Leader of a badly managed and failing party.
Doherty says that with his current responsibility as Deputy National Secretary, his own immediate concern is to put the Lagos PDP back on track, inspire membership growth in all corners and crannies of the state, while looking forward to a more robust performance in the forthcoming 2027 elections.
