GANDUJE, APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN RESIGNS


APC National Chairman-Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje

Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has resigned from his position, bringing an abrupt end to a tenure repeatedly shaken by crisis, court orders, and internal rebellion.

A party official expressing shock at the decision said that he didn’t see it coming.

Ganduje’s aides were seen on Friday afternoon packing his personal belongings from the national chairman’s office.

Many of the aides refused to pick their calls when contacted further underling the suspense over the fate of the national chairman.

Abdullahi Ganduje emerged as national chairman of the APC on August 3, 2023 when he replaced Senator Abdullahi Adamu who held the position through the campaigns, though his emergence caused unease among some leaders from the North Central.

I saw him in the office two days ago, though he didn’t come yesterday (Thursday),” a senior party official hinted
