NNPP COMMENDS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PROPOSED TAX REFORM BILL

 BREAKING NEWS

TAX REFORM IS PART OF STRATEGIC PROCESSES  OF ACHIEVING RENEWED HOPE AGENDA FOR A GREATER NIGERIA OF OUR DREAMS

Regret to note that some Nigerians and indeed  evil minded politicians are yet to key into the mantra of renewed hope for a greater Nigeria of our dreams

It is even more worrisome wherein most of the unemployed characters around senator Rabiu musa KWANKWASO continue to conduct themselves in a manner as if Nigeria is a banana Republic , the likes of chief onu nweze have continued to impersonate officers of the new Nigeria people's party

It is in the public that Abia state high court delivered a compelling judgment to direct inec to handover nnpp administration to board of trustees led by Dr Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam, the founder of the party 2002.

It is also on record through internal democracy of the party that senator Rabiu musa KWANKWASO, Elder Buba Galadima and the entire members of the defunct NWC led by Dr Ahmed Ajuji have been expelled from the party.

It is also trite to note that up to the time of this release that the judgement of Abia State High Court have not been set aside by any other court . The compelling judgment is on inec as a party to the suit to enforce.

The judgement of Abia High Court can not be on nothingness noting that senator KWANKWASO and his unemployed characters have since been expelled from the party.

Most unfortunate and regrettable that some of these unemployed characters around senator KWANKWASO have continued to impersonate officers of the new Nigeria people's party in the face of an existing order of the Abia State high court to make public comments ONBEHALF of the party.

Let it be on record that whatever one chief onu nweze may be saying against the tax reform bill is not the position of the new Nigeria people's party NNPP under the leadership of Dr aniebonam Boniface okechukwu, the extant chairman board of trustees and founder of the new Nigeria people's party.

It is again trite to note that we can not make an omilet without breaking an egg. The times are hard in Nigeria and indeed globally. It is the belief of nnpp leadership and it's members that strong leaders in time like this make strong decisions for the good of the greater numbers.

What should be in our minds at this critical time is how best we can serve God and honour Him so that He can favour and protect us in His grace.

What this simply meant is to the extent  all of us shall work hard, respect our laws , make sacrifices, stay out of corruption and ensuring peace of the state and good governance et al.

Opposition to government policies must be constructive other than media trial. We as members of the new Nigeria people's party have written a memo to the government on areas of our concern and thoughts going forward.

The urgent need to reform our tax regime can not be overemphasised.

Dr Gilbert Agbo Major

National Chairman NNPP
