NGWA DAY CELEBRATION 2024

 

The saying "the unification of a tribe lies in their oneness" transcends not only in their unique hold and display of their differences but in their ability to harness the aesthetics attributes in their differences to their benefit.

NGWANESS an annual celebration of Sons and Daughters of Ngwa land from all parts of Ngwa land to promote their origin, existence, identity, cultural heritage and potentials to excel in all works and brains as a people.

Ngwaness is community life as opposed to individualistic life. It is seen in our culture, tradition, arts and crafts and even in our carriage and is expressed in "Onyeahala nwanne ya", "umunaehila" and Umunna bu ike".....

Ngwaness means the totality of being someone who is born, breed, tutored and trained to uphold the cultures, values, ethos and beliefs in industry, family ties, brotherliness and growth of the Ngwa nation....

The term Ngwaness is the brainchild of the Club and is derived from three of its core objectives:

- To promote the social and cultural progress of Ngwaman.

- To project the culture of the Ngwa people and thus give the Ngwaman a sense of pride in his culture.

- To awaken the Ngwaman to his rights and responsibilities.

These to my mind laid the foundation of the philosophy of Ngwaness the Club is canvassing and propagating.....

The Key note Speaker for the program Professor Ogbonna Onuoha will throw much light on the theme, "NGWANESS" ....the rebirth of a heritage and culture.
