OSHODI/ISOLO CONSTITUENCY 2, BENEFITS FROM FULL FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH


Free Medical Outreach and Free Laboratory Investigations Covering In Oshodi/Isolo 2. Federal Constituency, Lagos.

Oshodi/Isolo 2 Constituency, witnessed a unique August event yesterday as the Labour Party Honourable member Representing its Federal constituent in the Green Chamber, Hon Okey-Joe Onuakalusi rolled out a free laboratory Investigations Covering for his consistency.

It was a memorial occasion been the first of its kind in the community. Accommodating both young and old who are having health challenges as well as keeping an update on their health status.

Speaking to the media, the Honorable pointed out the initiative as a dream come true, been part of his campaign promises before his election.  He stressed that, been the first of its kind in his constituency, much is to be expected subsequently as he affirms that good health is wealth.




The free Medical Outreach slated to run  for three days Thursday 27th June to Saturday the 29th of June 2024, will feature,  free Medical check up and screening,  Consultations and general counseling with experienced medical personals on ground.

When tackled on the ranging cholera outbreak currently experienced in Nigeria, Honourable Okey- Joe advised that all is embedded into the health awareness and keeping ones environment clean at all times, to be safe.

Speaking on the present administrations zeal to adequate provision for empowerment of Nigerians, he stated that under the House Leadership of Dr Tajudeen Abbas, the welfare of Nigerians is sacrosanct with much to be achieved, while craving the indulgence of the Executive arm to adequantly implement bills passed by the house aimed at Alleviating the  sufferings of its populace. Some of the beneficiaries expressed their sincere appreciation to the Honorable for such a plausible initiative coming at this time.


Maxi Chuks Nwosu the  Special Adviser on Media and Communication To Hon Okey-Joe conclusively threw more light on the outreach re affirming the Honorable's reason behind the program. 

The Media Director, citied the high cost of medications presently which is way out of the reach of the common masses while noting that such a program wouldn't have come at a better time, as a healthy people begets a wealthy nation.

For the people of Oshodi/Isolo federal constituency 11, the free health program will not only alleviate their health status but will also give them the dividend of democracy in their choice of Honourable Okey Joe Onuakalusi.
