NNPP LIFTS SUSPENSION ON GOV ABBA KABIR YUSUF OF KANO STATE,

COMMENDS HIM ON HIS BOLDNESS TO RISE UP AGAINST IMAGINARY POWERS.

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) today cleared the Kano state governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of alleged gross misconduct perpetrated by Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his unemployed characters masquerading as National Working Committee members of the party.  

The party, today the indefinite suspension slammed on the  governor in 2025 after thorough consideration of a report presented by the committee set up to investigate the allegations against him. 

Accordingly, all his rights and privileges as a member of our great party have been restored.

In an emergency meeting held earlier this morning at the  Abuja National Headquarters, the NWC in consultation with the Founder and Chairman, Board of Trustees of our great party lifted the indefinite suspension  on Gov ABBA KABIR YUSUF.

He is to assume, with immediate effect, the position of National Leader of the party as the highest elected office holder on the party's platform.

All rights and privileges are now to be accorded him as the Leader of the party forthwith.

The NWC in consultation with the Founder hereby direct that he should use his leadership position of our great party to ensure that we build and consolidate on our past achievements as we head to 2027.

The Founder,  NWC and on behalf of the entire members of our great party hereby congratulate the governor  for his boldness to speak to imaginary powers attempting to set our party back from building on our 2023 success.

The NWC reiterates its position on the expulsion of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his Kwankwassiya group from the party and advise media practitioners to desist from further referring to him as national leader of the party.

  State Creation: MOVE LUDICROUS AND ILL TIMED - NNPP. The Joint Committee on Amendment of the 1999 Constitution has resolved to create additional states to the existing 36 across the country. The committee co-chaired by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Jubrin Barau, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has received 55 requests for more states.
