KWANKWASO'S GROSS MISCONDUCT MAY LEAD TO THE GANDUJE TREATMENT- NNPP                   

Gov Abba Yusuf is the Governor of the Kano State. In that capacity he is the Leader of the NNPP ,being the highest elected public official.

But Kwankwaso continues to torment him, interfering in his administration of Kano State and the political choices he makes and about to make.                                                  


NNPP observes this habitual interference in governance structures of Kano State as unwarranted misconduct and abuse of privileges. It was such intermedddling that made then Governor Ganduje to declare Kwankwaso persona non grata in Kano, and banished him into exile in Abuja.                      The way things are going, it appears Kwankwaso may suffer the Ganduje treatment if he does not put a stop to unrestrained interference in the administration of Kano by Governor Abba Yusuf.

Case studies abound in the matter of Chief Jim Nwobodo of Enugu State and Gov Nnamani Chimaroke, it's also unthinkable for a strong leader like Gov Hope Uzodinma of Imo State to tolerate the excesses and abuse of privileges of Senator Kwankwaso at the moment.


We have said severally that Rabui Kwankwaso, Elder Buba Galadima and the Kwankwasiya group have been expelled from NNPP through our internal disciplinary measures and the courts have equally confirmed it.

INEC has equally been informed and advised through administrative processes and procedures. The court bailiffs have equally served INEC hqrs accordingly to update its records 

We must alert Nigerians that if care is not taken, we may return to Egypt again, to wit, the era of Professor Yakubu Mohammed when rule of law and judicial decisions never mattered.

You will recall that a Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja ordered INEC to stop dealing and transacting any business with Senator Rabiu Musa KWANKWASO- led illegal group pending the determination of the ongoing Judicial Review before it

Surprisingly, the same INEC continues to transact business with Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso illegal group without due respect to the Orders of court. 

May we therefore appeal and call upon the new INEC chairman to rise to his statutory responsibility by repositioning the administration of INEC with a view to observing, obeying and respecting the rule of law and judicial decisions 

It is our hope that Gov ABBA KABIR YUSUF should take responsibility in Kano State as the leader of the New Nigeria People's Party to serve the greater numbers of Kano indegens who voted him into power. 

Enough of the excesses of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in Kano State for the good of the State and Nigeria as a whole. 

It is our hope that the Gov should evoke his inherent powers to dissolve the State Executive Council and reconstitute it forthwith . 

It is our belief also that the remote cause of Governor Abba KABIR YUSUF intentions to decamp to APC is because of the escalating legal matters and intimidation of Kwankwaso. Enough of this rascality and impunity.

  State Creation: MOVE LUDICROUS AND ILL TIMED - NNPP. The Joint Committee on Amendment of the 1999 Constitution has resolved to create additional states to the existing 36 across the country. The committee co-chaired by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Jubrin Barau, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has received 55 requests for more states.
