NPC: TWO COMMISSIONERS SWORN IN BY THE PRESIDENT

Tinubu Swears In Two National Population Commissioners




President Bola Tinubu has sworn-in two additional Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission on Monday at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The swearing in ceremony took place before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting had Johnson Johnson from Ogun state and Amidu Tadese Raheem from Osun. 

The Swearing in came weeks after 17 others took their oath of office. 

The Federal Executive Council meeting which was presided over by President Tinubu, observed a minute silence before going into closed door, in honor of 2 former ministers - Late Prof Fabian Osuji (fmr minister of Education) and the immediate past minister of science and technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu. 

Meanwhile the council meeting was inconclusive, to be continued tomorrow. 

Speaking to newsmen after the meeting,  the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris said far reaching decisions were taken and that some more critical issues would be considered at a reconvened meeting on Tuesday.
