NNPP writes INEC, seeks immediate enthronement of court order The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja has issued fresh orders restraining the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from recognising or engaging with any faction of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) other than the leadership headed by Dr. Agbo Gilbert Major. Justice Bello Kawu, sitting at High Court No. 14, Apo, granted the orders on 25 and 27 November 2025 in two separate ex parte applications filed by the NNPP, which accused a rival faction led by Dr. Ajuju Ahmed and several others of attempting to mislead the electoral commission despite existing court judgments affirming the Agbo Major leadership.   Bamidele officially recognised as GWR holder for longest marathon playing pool Nigerian, Mr Shehu Bamidele, has been confirmed by Guinness World Records as the new world record holder for the Longest Marathon Playing Pool by an Individual. Bamidele achieved an extraordinary time of 98 hours, 26 minutes, 37 seconds in Lagos on September 2, 2025. This achievement has been formally validated by Guinness World Records, GWR. Press Release Q3 2025: Fidelity Bank Grows Interest Income by 33%, Fee Income by 47% Fidelity Bank Plc, a leading financial institution, has released its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025. The results show impressive performance across key income lines and operational metrics. According to the statements published on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) portal on November 21, 2025, the Bank reported Gross Earnings of ₦366.1 billion for Q3 2025. This represents an 8 percent increase from the ₦338.9 billion recorded in Q3 2024. The growth was driven by strong interest income and sustained momentum in fee-based revenues. Interest Income, calculated using the effective interest rate method, rose by 33 percent to ₦285.6 billion in Q3 2025, compared to ₦214.7 billion in Q3 2024.
